Like Radio Biafra, Boko-Haram Floats New Radio Station
Just like radio Biafra owned by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), terrorist group, Boko Haram, has set up an FM station broadcasting on 96.8 frequency, the Hausa service of Voice of America reports.
According to the Hausa service of Voice of America, the new Radio station is being used by the terrorist group to spread its propaganda challenging statements from authorities that they are winning the war.
Also confirming the new development, residents of Tolkomari village in the far north state of Cameroon said they tune to the station.
It can be recalled recently that the Nigerian army have been recording successes in their battle against Boko Haram, bringing the popularity of the group to the nearest minimum.
Meanwhile the new radio station by the Boko-Haram Insurgents, broadcast mainly propaganda messages to counter media reports of victories by troops from Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon and Niger Republic against the insurgents.
Howbeit, the Federal Government is yet to react to this latest development as at Press time.
